Yoga Lab is where science meets the mat. With over 15 years of practice and a background in neuroscience, behavior, and research, Natasha has systematically refined an approach to yoga practice that prioritizes functional movement over chasing sensation. Her classes are a creative fusion of challenging, dynamic, breath-centered styles designed to build strength, cultivate resilience, and deepen awareness with intentional moments of stillness and release woven throughout.

Natasha's teaching draws from study across multiple traditions — Hatha yoga through the Raja Yoga system, dynamic Vinyasa sequencing inspired by the Jivamukti method, traditional Iyengar alignment, and Buddhist Vipassana mindfulness meditation. Her approach weaves these influences into something distinctly her own: classes that are physically rigorous, mentally engaging, and rooted in how the body actually moves.
In 2024, Natasha found her way to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and became enthralled with the creative physicality of the sport. It wasn't long before she noticed the deep complementarity between yoga and BJJ and began drawing inspiration from regular training sessions to better serve students who use their bodies in demanding ways. Yoga Lab's classes at Carlson Gracie Omaha (located inside Regency Fitness Club) reflect that crossover, offering movement that supports athletic performance, recovery, and longevity on and off the mats.
Natasha has over a decade of experience in bench and clinical research and is a graduate student in computer science focused on artificial intelligence. Yoga Lab reflects her approach to practice as experimentation, inquiry, and continuous refinement. When she's not on the mats or absorbed in her studies, she's likely adventuring on local bike trails or captivated by yet another sci-fi novel.
